My financial habit was a huge mistake. When I was in Mumbai, I started getting my first salary of 20,000 INR. I thought I was the richest person in the world. By the way, it was my dream that once I got the salary, I would buy unlimited burgers. Eventually, that never happened.
Why was my first habit wrong and a mistake? Because the money that I earned, I was giving to people who didn’t even care about me, without realising the impact. People start taking you for granted.
I thought helping everyone should be humanity, but still, there is a huge difference between when to help and when not to.
These kinds of things our parents never teach us. The real experience of knowing people and knowing your worth only comes when you go outside of your home.
Otherwise, you are just a kid. I mean, I was a kid at that time, but seriously, I was happy helping everyone. I don’t remember the day when I realised that no one was helping me when I was in trouble.
My problem was my problem, and others’ problems were also mine. Not sure who taught me these things.
I never got the money back. I don’t even know how to get it back, so I learnt one lesson the hard way: if you don’t know how to get your things back, better not to give them to those whom you know are kind of snakes.
If you don’t understand people, make sure to stay away from them, but don’t lose your things in the pursuit of helping others. It seriously doesn’t make sense, unless you are a billionaire or trillionaire who can handle your situation with just one click.
