Without guidance, things feel heavy and unclear. In today's world, finding information is not difficult. What really matters is finding what actually works for you, and that comes with experience.
I have been learning a lot of real-world lessons during my Capgemini days, and Anand UV was the first person I thought of after my manager when I resigned from the organization.
By the way, I still don't remember why I was trying to hide that part at that time.
Today, I was finally able to start the Community Connect that I had been thinking about for a long time. I always wanted to start a meetup or something similar where students and anyone who wants to learn could connect, and a learning ecosystem could be built.
Anand UV joined us as a guest to support that initiative. Sixteen people joined the very first talk itself. It was highly interactive and full of fun.
I enjoyed it so much. When I got the chance to talk with other people afterward, they genuinely enjoyed it. Someone even said they had finally found something new to start and got the motivation to begin something that had been making them uncomfortable for a long time.
I could see the excitement in people's eyes after the session. The greatest feeling was that I was actually trying to follow the chapters I had written in my book. One chapter says: Helping others can help you too.
I'm not sure why helping others makes us feel so good, but it really works. When the platform was built and Anand UV supported that mission, it felt deeply fulfilling. We were changing someone's future because knowledge is something that remains even after we are no longer on this planet. That knowledge is the real wealth that gets passed on to future generations.
Things always start small. I started WakeupCoders with one user and one mission. Now it is expanding, and it truly feels like things are happening.
Reinvent Yourself is finally starting to make sense after 2–3 years of being published, and WakeupCoders is slowly becoming an umbrella that can help others even if we no longer exist on this planet. That feeling itself brings peace and makes it feel like we have found the purpose of our lives.
