Last year, I learnt a great lesson when I was teaching full stack to my students. Recently, I observed one pattern: it doesn't matter how great you are performing in the class; it doesn't guarantee success in the real playground. This is one of the biggest lessons in personal growth and self development.
Being a topper in class doesn't mean they will top in life. Real life has different chapters to teach. I can only mentor them. The actual exam, the students have to give themselves. During that journey, my only action item is to believe in that student.
I will tell you a story about Anchal. She is my student. She was a bit slow and used to forget things. Many times, I used to get frustrated with these things too, but I feel everyone is suffering from some problems.
I used to think sometimes, how she was going to manage. The only powerful weapon she had was consistency. In today's world, it's very hard to be consistent and dedicated to our work. Strong daily habits, positive thinking, and confidence building often matter more than natural talent.
She was consistent and enjoyed the journey.
Recently, she went to Delhi. She worked there as a reporter and performed those actions which I never ever imagined. That's how consistent people beat even the smartest people.
She is really doing great in AI agent stuff. She is working on full stack, digital marketing, content creation, and many other things.
The only thing that I understood is that after putting in your efforts, you just have to believe in your actions. Sometimes, the bad performer you are seeing now can really outperform in the future. It just takes some time for things to get settled. That is the true journey of personal transformation and emotional well-being, supported by the right mindset.
As I said in my psychology book: "Life is not a race that we have to run and get first. It just needs to be experienced and enjoyed."
