For me, it took more than 10 years to gain real experience—real, concrete experience in the software development journey. I can confidently say that now.
In another field, it took me more than 4 years to learn, and I'm still learning, to understand real businesses. During that journey, I found a stock that gave me 9000% returns. I know it's unsustainable, but I was able to do it multiple times.
Even though I created a free Machine Learning course back in 2020, it reached more than 13,000 students.
All these things come with experience and then patiently working on it without getting panicked. When you truly understand the game, you wait for your opportunity and give it your best shot. The results will surely follow. The only thing is that you should have expertise in that domain.
